Walnut Tart (Torta de Nozes)

Torta de Nozes is a sweet and delicious Portuguese Walnut Tart. It is a creamy and rich walnut tart that is very rich in flavor, and perfect for those with a sweet tooth.It is a popular and traditional recipe in Portuguese dessert making. It is one of the easier desserts that you can make without much difficulty but is sure to impress.

Ingredients:
1 pound walnuts
1 pound sugar
1 pound butter
4 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup flour
1/2 cup walnuts to cover

Directions:
1) Preheat an oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2) Grind the 1 pound of walnuts well.
3) In a blender, blend the sugar, butter, heavy cream, and flour into a smooth and even consistency.
4) Add the eggs one by one, and continue blending until it is mixed well.
5) Finally add the ground walnuts and baking powder, and blend until it is completely mixed and consistent.
6) Grease a baking mold and pour in the mixture into the mold.
7) Let it cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the top of the tart is golden brown.
8) Once done, take out of the oven and remove from the mold.
9) Place it in the refrigerator for an hour to cool.
10) Once done cooling, take it out of the refrigerator and cover with the 1/2 cup walnuts and whipped cream. Serve.
